Here's the victim. I just picked up "Hurricane" last winter in Florida. She's an 87 automatic. All the previous owner could tell me about the sink was "It's broken." So I decided to refurb the entire sink/water tank system. I decided to eliminate the city water hookup as I will never use it. We are not campground-type people, and we stick more to private property, backcountry roads in national forests and remote locales. I also decided to remove the outside water tank fill because I much prefer filling the tank from the inside. I can check the condition of the tank and easily see the water level as I'm filling. Also, this vehicle has the dreaded rust below the hookups, and I'm trying to remove any possibility of water leaking into that area. That's what caused it in the first place. The PO used the city water hookup constantly, and as it went bad it leaked into the fiberglass insulation. This entire project cost about $75 and took me one full day of work and trips to the hardware store.
